Isthmus Pilot

Hello! Welcome to my personal pilot web site. I have a private pilot's license with approximately 100 hours of flying experience. I am VFR rated and often fly in and out of Madison WI (KMSN). My goal with this web site os to communicate with my fellow pilots in Madison or anywhere in the world.

As time permits, I will update this web iste with variety of information including the environmental impacts assessment of GA flying. So keep checking...

ISTHMUS: An isthmus (pronounced /ˈɪsθməs/ or /ˈɪsməs/; plural: isthmuses, isthmi, from Ancient Greek: ἰσθμός isthmos "neck") is a narrow strip of land connecting two larger land areas usually with waterforms on either side.[1] Of note, the Isthmus of Corinth connects the peninsula of Peloponnese with the rest of the Greek peninsula, the Isthmus of Panama connects the continents of North and South America (the Americas), and the Isthmus of Suez in Egypt connects Africa and Asia (or Eurasia).
